Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 6 November 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are. It is written for visitors to the website. If we act for you, we will give you further information about how we handle your information when we start work.

1. Who we are

This website is run by Sinels Global Restitution Limited (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Jersey (company number 104468). We decide how the information described below is used, which makes us the “controller” under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

You can contact us at info@restitutionlimited.com or on +44 (0)1534 620500.

2. What information we collect

  • Enquiry form. Your name, email address, telephone number and the message you write.
  • Email and telephone. The details you give us and what you tell us in the conversation.
  • Website use. Technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view and the page that sent you to us. Some of this is collected using cookies, and only the cookies you accept. See our Cookie Policy.

Please keep your first message to the details we need to understand your enquiry. Do not send privileged or highly sensitive information until we have spoken.

3. Why we use your information

We do not sell your information. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

4. Who we share it with

  • The Sinels team. Enquiries from the website form are emailed to the Sinels enquiries inbox, with a copy to a second member of the team.
  • Service providers that help us run the website: our hosting provider, a database service that stores form submissions, an email delivery service that sends them on, Cloudflare (domain and security services) and Google (website tools, see the Cookie Policy). They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Advisers, courts and regulators, where the law requires it or we need to protect our rights.

5. Transfers outside Jersey

Some of our providers are based in, or store information in, the UK, the European Union or the United States. Where that happens, we use providers that apply recognised safeguards for personal information.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and for a reasonable time afterwards in case you come back to us. If we act for you, we keep the file for as long as our legal and professional duties require. We then delete the information or make it anonymous.

7. Your rights

Under the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 you can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete your information, in some cases;
  • limit how we use it, or object to our use of it;
  • give you your information in a form you can move to another provider, in some cases.

To use any of these rights, email info@restitutionlimited.com. We will reply within the time the law allows. You may withdraw consent for cookies at any time through the cookie banner.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (jerseyoic.org). If you live in the UK or EU, you may also be able to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

This website is for businesses and professionals. It is not aimed at children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
